#CBB Natasha gets DEATH THREATS on TWITTER

She's not top of many people’s favorite list but Natasha Giggs has now become the apparent victim of twitter death threats.
The Celebrity Big Brother star was alerted to messages sent from twitter user @jersey_justin, who describes himself as “twitter’s first killer tweeter!” alongside a picture of him shirtless, warning other followers to keep away from Ryan Giggs’ sister in law.
One read: “don’t ask questions just stay away from Natasha over the next few weeks!!!! Listen to this advice!!! I am doin u a favour.”
While others were aimed directly at Natasha: “it amazes me you thought u could get away with being a whore without punishmet..thearrogance astounds me! Your mistake!
“I will enjoy you more than enyone previous! U deserve it the most u r worthy!!! I can’t wait to see the pain and fear in yr eyes @NatashaGiggs.."
“Natalie just to tell u that yr punishment is coming and it will be severe! You time is up c***! U will feel pain! C u soon!”
Natasha linked to the two pages of bile with this message: “Waaaaw have a look at these pls! #freak the guy has blocked me but my friend showed me..... WTF is this for real??”

Numerous followers told Natasha to call the police and it seems some of them decided to take matters into their own hands and were so concerned they alerted authorities themselves, who then sent her a message.
A tweet from G M Police read: “@NatashaGiggs Hi, several people have tweeted us saying you've had threatening tweets. We recommend u report it on 101 or 999 if emergency.”

Natasha thanked fans for their support but said she refused to let him affect her: “There are some seriously mentally deranged smackrats on twitter.... Proper little freaks!!! Thanku for the support tweeps muchos appreciated.
“Ok, no more talk of this FREAKY smackrat... they will not be ruining my day, today or any other day... Obviously a bit of a not right!”

Natasha, who had an affair with footballer Ryan for an alleged eight years while still married to his brother Rhodri seems to have gone about her daily business since.
Unfortunately ‘Justin’ has continued tweeting threats, including some about what he’s done to other girls who “have acted like whores”.

MICHAEL MADSEN CLAIMS DENISE WELCH BEGGED HIM FOR SEX

FURIOUS Michael Madsen has sensationally claimed Denise begged him for sex in the house.

The movie star last night blamed Loose Woman Denise for ruining his time on the show and said he felt sorry for her husband Tim Healy.

In an exclusive chat, Michael, 54, told the Daily Star Sunday: “She offered to sleep with me a number of times – she just kept trying.

“I couldn’t understand why she was pressing me to do that. But she was deadly serious. I know quite a bit about women and I know when a girl is being serious – and she definitely wanted it to happen.

“It made me sick to my stomach – the idea repulsed me. If I was stranded on a desert island I would rather f**k a coconut tree.

“She walked up to me on the last night and said ‘Why don’t we just go and f**k right now?’.”

Loyal Tim blasted Michael in an interview last week over his treatment of Denise.

But Michael said: “I feel sorry for her husband. I heard he wants to ‘sort me out’. Well here I am.

“But if he wants to sort something out perhaps he should have a chat with his wife. If I was him I’d be pretty embarrassed.”

Dad-of-five Michael also claimed Denise’s alcohol problems were far from over.

He said: “Having Denise there ruined my experience – every housemate felt the same.

“The people that voted for her weren’t living under the same roof.

“She can’t handle her drink. She spends the whole day asking when we’ll get wine – and when she gets it she just kicks off. We had to start hiding it from her.

“We were all in fear of the way she behaved when she had a drink – we got fed-up with it. It was sad. We all felt really embarrassed for her.”

Denise hit back at Michael’s claims, saying: “I was joking when I said we should have sex. He doesn’t have a sense of humour.”

Our buddy Ermmmmmmm uploaded Part 1 of todays show and IMMEDIATELY it was blocked.

Not just to U.S. viewers, but to EVERYONE WORLDWIDE!

His channel has received it's 4th warning and will be shut down later this week.

I went on strike 2 days ago to protest online censorship, and 24 hours later, we get THIS!?!

Ermmmmmmm is doing his best to upload the shows to DailyMotion, but don't be surprised if DM gets

aggressive about this being posted too. Especially if Channel 5 demands it be taken down.

I'm not being all gloom-and-doom, but this just MIGHT be the end of uploading.

And if there is no uploading, there will be no shows posted here.

It started last Saturday night when "Bit On The Side" presenter, Jamie East (from Holy Moly) was taking LIVE calls on the show. One caller talked about the lack of Live Feeds, and Jamie jokingly mocked those that want the Live Feeds back on Big Brother.

I tweeted him, as did many others, and we started a light-hearted dialogue that ended up with me inviting Jamie to come on the "Couch Potatoes" radio show and discuss the issue.

Jamie appeared earlier today on an impromptu show, and answered many questions about the Live Feed debate.

He hasn't convinced me that Big Brother is better WITHOUT Live Feeds, but he made a compelling argument from HIS standpoint as a presenter for Channel 5.

Due to internet issues, Jamie cut out several times, but the main issues of the topic are heard loud and clear.

WE’VE seen some unlikely friendships forming in the Celebrity Big Brother house, but few can compare with Sally Bercow and Paddy Doherty’s, struck up during the last series.

In a two-part special on Channel 5, the pair reunite in the outside world to spend a fortnight in each other’s company.

Sally will live by Paddy's rules in week 1 and he will live by hers in week 2.

Episode One see the House Of Commons Speaker’s wife heading over to traveller Paddy’s chalet, which he shares with his wife Roseanne on a site in north Wales, to spend a week living under Paddy’s rules and a week calling the shots herself.

#BBUK Does Big Brother have a future on Channel 5?

In just a couple of days' time, Channel 5's first run of Big Brother will come to an end. The doors will close, the lights will switch off, and host Brian Dowling will go back to whatever it is he does when not presenting the show.
The last housemate to make it down the stairs might be in for a surprise when they find that, actually, very few people care that they've won. Viewing figures have been rather low, hovering around the 1 million mark. The media have expressed a severe lack of interest in the contestants. In fact, most of the comments this year have been about the lack of live streaming and the dismal ratings.
It needn't be this way. The viewers shouldn't need to speculate about whether or not someone called Jay had an incident with a freezer. Big Brother US is a shining example of how live streaming combined with social media does wonders for their viewing figures. If Channel 5 and Endemol truly want to make a success of Big Brother in the UK, they have plenty of options available to them.
As blogger Jazz Merry observed, CH5's Big Brother was part of a new media strategy. Nick Bampton, commercial sales director of Channel 5, said: "Big Brother is a unique fame-building property and in Freederm we have found a likeminded organisation that believes in the value of a broader partnership arrangement." This includes opportunities around Big Brother such as licensing deals and product placement. (From 28 February 2011 TV programmes made for UK audiences can contain product placement, as long as they comply with Ofcom's rules.)
Nick Bampton was pleased with the figures for Celebrity Big Brother. "Lots of people doubted us but our audiences have held up really well throughout the series. [...] we grabbed 22.2% share of 16- to 34-year-olds, that's massive."
However, the viewing figures fell during the main run of the series. The social media experiment proved controversial, with many users blocked and even banned from Facebook after posting on Channel 5's page. Irish and international viewers were excluded from viewing the clips. The Twitter updates were far from exciting, and the promised phone applications didn't live up to expectations. So when told that "Freederm branding will be used on all 'Big Brother' marketing, the 'Big Brother' apps and on-air idents and Freederm will able to run in-store promotions and competitions for tickets. The 'Big Brother' app will be available on all major platforms and will offer users the chance to vote on who should stay in the 'Big Brother' house as well as information and news about the show and its housemates", Freederm might well feel disappointed. After all, the whole point of sponsoring a show is to get your brand out there and viewed in a positive light.
If the social media extras failed to capture the public's imagination, advert breaks and product placement are the way to go. In a one hour highlight show (minus adverts), the space for promotion is limited. Live Feed on TV is 53 minutes long per hour (potentially) and on web stream it is 60 minutes per hour. These minutes are there for filling with placed products and Freederm and others have been denied access to them.
Quite aside from the loss of potential revenue, the ill will generated this series is not to be overlooked. Most housemates, it was discovered, had already been in the media. This is despite the fact that a lot of viewers wish to see "normal" people in the house - people they can relate to. It didn't help when housemates sometimes referred to other housemates as "characters". And with the lack of live streaming, and inconsistencies in the highlight shows, it was easy for viewers to wonder what was really going on.
The show's executive producer Gavin Henderson said the new series needed to adopt current TV trends set out by 'scripted reality' shows such as The Only Way Is Essex. "Big Brother does what it does extremely well but it isn't a TOWIE or a Made In Chelsea... But the humour, the awareness of the manipulation that the viewers have of those shows, as well as their use of music are things we need to note."
Unfortunately, Big Brother viewers do not expect scripted reality, nor do they have an awareness of which aspects of the show are manipulated. Gavin Henderson is correct that Big Brother isn't TOWIE or Made In Chelsea. When housemates like Heaven left the house and told of events that shed a very different light on certain other housemates, and made these statements in the full expectation that the viewers had witnessed these events, viewers were left to wonder what was real, and what they could trust anymore.
Indeed, fans felt that instead of controlling the housemates, who'd signed up for it, the ones controlled by Channel 5 and Endemol were the viewers. Many voted with their remotes and switched off. Others are hopeful that if there is to be a 2012 series of regular Big Brother, it will once more be the show they knew and loved. Perhaps confidence will be restored in January, during the next Celebrity Big Brother.
For that to happen, Endemol will have to survive its alleged financial difficulties. If reports about their debts are correct, might this have led to the company delivering a subpar product? Were they so afraid of controversy that they decided to cut the live streaming and create stories rather than offer a true reflection of life in the Big Brother house? The viewer can only speculate.
In the meanwhile, those who are still hanging in there to see who emerges as the winner of this series are hopeful that their views will be taken into consideration. If not, Channel 5 might well see a further drop in ratings in subsequent series.

If any of you have noticed, I've been a bit of loose cannon lately.

I'll explain why.

For 11 years, I have been a devout Big Brother USA fan.

Around the time of Season 8 (Evel Dick's season), I noticed a quantum shift in the way that the fans reacted to the show and it's participants. People came out of the woodwork to try to make a change to the show that they cared for, and loved.

Since that season, the show has gone down the tubes and has turned in a vast wasteland of 'sit-at-home' wives who stop at nothing (Violent threats, death threats, threatening behavior) to see that their favorite wins the $500,000 prize.

As of this past season, I no longer tune in as a fan, but as a blogger gathering information for REAL fans.

I believe this still qualifies me as a fan, but my heart isn't in it anymore.

About the summer of 2007, I was told about Big Brother UK.

I had no clue it existed. I always thought it was just a USA TV show. I soon found out that Big Brother went WORLDWIDE with shows in the Phillipines, France, Germany, and Australia among others.

I watch some of those versions, but none of them caught my eye quite like the UK version.

I was addicted.

Fast forward to the end of last series (2010), and the heartbreaking news that Channel 4 was dumping Big Brother. Not really a reason given, but it signaled the end of my ALL time favorite show.

All eyes turned to other networks to see if someone would pick it up.

AND THEY DID!

Channel 5 announced that they would be purchasing the rights to the show from Endemol for 2 years, and that the new show would be produced in the regular Big Brother house and be "Bigger and Better".

Fast forward to today.

I am not watching the show because of how badly Channel 5 has ruined the Big Brother brand for the UK.

It is well documented how I feel, and so I wondered what my next step could be.

Could I take on a task as big as saving my favorite show?

Could I garner enough support to get thousands, potentially, HUNDREDS of thousands of people to jump on this bandwagon?

Well, this is where YOU come in.

I have started a Petition that will be sent to Endemol (the owners of the Big Brother brand) pleading with them to take Big Brother away from Channel 5 and find a worthy network.

This is a tall task for me, as I am just a blogger from the United States, so you would think I have no vested interest in a British television show.

You are wrong if you think that.

I've already lost BBUSA to production quality.

I don't want to lose BBUK.

I have never charged a penny to anybody on this blog.

I have never asked anything from the visitors here.

I am NOW asking you to support this cause and join me in saving a show that is worthy of saving.

To save room here, and to keep this post as short as possible, I have kept it as brief as I possibly could. All of the details of why we are doing this are contained inside the petition. It explains it all.

#BBUK - Jemma walks VIDEO - New Nominees

After days of threatening to leave, Jemma Palmer has finally walked out of the Big Brother 2011 house.
She was facing eviction alongside Aaron this Friday. As a result, the current phone vote has been cancelled, and refunds will be available later today. Phone voters can submit claims on the Channel 5 site, while Facebook voters will get their credits back automatically.

Big Brother has also announced that Aaron, Faye, Harry and Jay will now face the seventh eviction on Friday following Jem’s departure.

During Monday’s round of nominations – which, in a twist, were made by the housemates’ friends and family – Aaron received five votes, Jem received four, Harry received three, and Faye and Jay received two each.

As the housemates with the most votes, Aaron and Jem were due to face eviction this Friday. However, Jem walked out of the Big Brother house voluntarily earlier today.

The original public vote has now been cancelled, but Big Brother has decided that, instead of abandoning the eviction, all housemates who recieved at least one nomination will now face the boot instead.

Therefore, either Aaron, Faye, Harry and Jay will leave the house during Friday’s live show. A new public vote to save will open later, with Aaron’s votes reset.

If you voted for this week’s eviction by phone before Jem’s departure, you can claim a refund on the Channel 5 website. Facebook voters will have their credits automatically returned to their vote wallet.
