I miss Ben already!! Why couldn't it have been Andrew? Nice kid, but adds NOTHING! Better yet, nominate Mario and get his back side voted out of the house! His behavior towards Ben was creepy! His expectations were entirely ridiculous of someone who is not gay! And to react the way he did towards Ben was uncalled for!! He needs to get a reality check. Even still, he needs to GROW UP!!
Doc, I have been doing some thinking on the John/Josie situation... You know how you called John a game player form day one and it took me a while to get it? Well, let's expand on that for a moment. I re-read a few bios a week ago. In John's bio, he said he would do ANYTHING to win. Now... Have you noticed John has quit with all the confrontation wihth other HMs? AND have you noticed that when he got word form the new HMs that he is well liked and that the public is watching him and Josie, it was THEN that he started responding to Josie's advances? He is saying and doing all the 'right' things. He loves her. He cuddles with her. He kisses her under the covers. When he was not evicted last night, he was with Josie with hugs and kisses. Maybe there is SOME sincerity in there somewhere, but I bet anything it is a SMALL percentage. I bet he is game playing for the win. And in this game he is playing, Josie will be hurt in the end...
Think about this, Seffie.
Remember (I think it was) yesterday's Highlight show. John James was sitting in the shower with Mario?
They were talking about how John James thought he was leaving BECAUSE others that were up for the public vote were more "characters" on the show. But he said something that set off bells and whistles for me.
Mario: "I don't think they (public) will vote you out because of the romance going on with you and Josie."
John James CHUCKLES and says, "The Romance? Hardly."
Then he caught himself and said, "I think she would be better in here without me, to be honest."
He IS playing the game. And he is using Josie to get to the end. He has no intentions of ever having a relationship with her NOW or AFTER the show.
It's a brilliant game plan if you ask me. Ruthless, but brilliant.
Like you mentioned, everytime a new Housemate comes in from the outside, JJ gets more information on who is liked in the house. When he was told that his relationship with Josie was very popular in the eyes of the Public, he turned it on even more with her.
Sad?
Maybe.
Strategic?
Definitely.
Will he win?
Probably.
Unless Josie's popularity soars more because some people see through JJ's scheme.
No matter what, its a good strategy.
Well since you kids are talking about it, I'll pile on too. The public kisses I have seen have always been on the cheeks. Also, in tonight's show there was a creepy feel to their cuddling in the store room when JohnJ was getting his suit case to pack in case he was evicted. Go back and watch it, it was like JohnJ was looking to see if the cameras were focusing on them, or he heard them focus on them and thus continued the cuddling but not in what I felt was a sincere manner. If this is part of his game it is ruthless and Josie will be crushed by him. That is why I continue to call it the no-mance. My $0.02.
I am glad Ben is gone, sorry Seffie. Mario may change now that Ben is gone. I have given him the benefit of the doubt recently but he does look like he is losing it in there. I am glad Andrew stayed just for what he said at the end of the show how Sam Pepper is like the bullies he had to deal with in school. I would like to see how that angle of the show plays out. Dave at times has some great one liners or rebuttals so I am not done with him just yet.
Sam is swimming in the deep end. I see it hard for him to last much more than a week of immunity from the vote and then the following week when he almost assuredly will be nominated. Can he continue to be obnoxious in that environment??? I can't imagine if he has no friends in the house that he would not crack at some point. His only hope to stay in is if he does push buttons and the UK audience loves him for that. The next week or so is going to be THE SAM PEPPER SHOW. Much like Mario was the early focus because he was the mole. Seffie will hate him within hours I suspect, lol. I love him calling Josie out on her thumb sucking and his teasing of JohnJ. Sam will have old crab eyes in tears soon but may have to deal with a JohnJ explosion too. Could Sam be the death blow to JohnJ's game plan??? Stay tuned!
One more thing. See Rachel watching Jedwood, she was in a trance like she was watching The Beatles, Springsteen, or Elvis. Just made me laugh.
Oh, yes! I noticed the comments in the shower and I noticed John looking at the cameras and playing up the hug after that BIG TIME! I was thinking what a creep he is! I'm beginning to think that the British public are all idiots for not catching on to that! Are they all so focused on having a romance in the house that they are blind to all the signals?? Do they have shorter memories than Americans? LOL!
I feel badly for Josie. She keeps saying she never thought a 'bloke like him; would notice a girl like her. She is going to be in worse shape with her confidence when she leaves the Big Brother house than she was when she went in... Sad... John is a grade A JERK!
As far as Sam goes, I think he will play hardcore because he knows there is ZERO chance that he will win and, therefore, has nothing to loose. Will I hate him in hours? It all depends on which direction he he takes his hardcore play in. I say he should 'have at it' with John and Mario. Speaking of Mario, I wonder what part of the state his mother lives in? I watched the video of the messages from home and I think WHERE in Tennessee she lives in was mentioned, but I could not make it out. Just curious...
Doc, I found it. It was in yesterday's show Day 52. I watched very carefully. He said, "Romance? Hardly." in a very nonchalant way. He then called what they have a 'connection.' Yeah. I think what he means by using the word connection is Josie+John=100,000 in his pocket at the end of the game.

aww I miss "Ben Do Nothing" as well. I got many laughed from him just being him.
The new guy will be up for evict this week i'm pretty certain , however as Mark pointed out the public may keep him in just to annoy people.
Also REALLY agree on the JohnJ strategy issue. I feel bad for Josie but hey its a game with money at stake. Should not be looking for love in the BB house.
